Infamous Nutcrackers

I got a laugh out of HomeDepot stocking their shelves with Mr. Nutcracker. This little wooden guy is so popular he can even fit in with the machines and electrical supplies.

Sekhmet - the Lioness

It's hard to argue with a lioness, especially ancient goddess.

Feeling Egyptian?

This is from the Egyptian museum in San Jose. I go there from time to time to feel the presence of Egypt.

I am not sure what this is but I like it...sphinx like character...a mini pharoah. And, the one below is obviously a dog or a cat mummy. 

This one reminds me of my poem "Faded Hieroglygphs"
