Infamous Nutcrackers

I got a laugh out of HomeDepot stocking their shelves with Mr. Nutcracker. This little wooden guy is so popular he can even fit in with the machines and electrical supplies.

Feeling Egyptian?

This is from the Egyptian museum in San Jose. I go there from time to time to feel the presence of Egypt.

I am not sure what this is but I like it...sphinx like character...a mini pharoah. And, the one below is obviously a dog or a cat mummy.

I realized after I shot both of these images that they have similar shapes, colors and lines...two of my favorite things! Expensive lipstick and delicate desserts!

Whenever I see angels, I photograph them. As of lately these are my favorite two. Angles are a beautiful mystery.

The Tree of Light

I like the light that shines through this chain. I was somewhere in Death Valley at that same little saloon-ish stop with the goat's head over the bar. Funky and barren...beautifully sparse with rustic abandon.
